The average NHS trust uses more than 500 forms on a day to day basis.
Mostly these are paper based and are physically moved around the organisation or, less commonly, via email. The abundance of physical forms based processes contributes to substantial inefficiencies in organisations.
We have extensive experience in creating powerful eForms, which enhance organisational processes by allowing parallel activties, intelligent routing, visible process status, semi-automated and accurate form completion and more.
Over the last year we have been building a set of generic eForms for NHS Trusts, covering both clinical and non-clinical processes. These are available in the Cloud2 NHS eForms library.
eForms can be delivered through a browser directly out of SharePoint’s Forms Server or using InfoPath on the desktop where the trust doesn’t have access to ECALs.

We have learned how to minimise the number of custom workflows by using smart forms. We also know that any workflow is at least twice as complex as you think it might be when first specifying a project. We have learned how to do very rapid forms creation by focusing on the visual appearance initially. Usually we can deliver a prototype form within 2 days. The Blackpool eDischarge project went live in 6 weeks!
