Intranet
SharePoint 2007 provides an enterprise intranet platform. In addition to deploying standard intranet functionality such as news, people search etc Cloud2 have experience of successfully integrating internal systems eg PAS into the intranet portal
Document Management
SharePoint 2007 provides a powerful document management solution including check in/out, version history and simple approvals as standard. This standard functionality can be extended by Cloud2 to provide a robust healthcare Information Governance solution, incorpoeate CUI components and rich policy and procedure management.
Collaboration
The collaboration capability of SharePoint 2007 extends to standard templates for team working, managing meetings, document workspaces, wikis and blogs. There are a further set of templates known as the “Fantastic 40″ that are available from Microsoft as a free download. In addition, we have worked closely with the KWT (Knowledge Worker Tools) workstream from the Microsoft/CFH CUI project and would be able to assist with the implementation of the outputs from that workstream. These are freely available to the NHS and include guidance on Collaboration Srategy, Information Architecture and Search Quickstart. There are also solution enablers for Scorecards Solutions, Managing Meetings and Collaboration Fundamentals.
Business Intelligence
